Listening
The Roots
I feel as though I’ve lived on the edge of past—future, urban—rural, impoverished—upper middle class, faith—doubt, wounds—gifting, fundamentalism right—left, sin—dis-ease, communal—personal.
Like you, each experience, person, community has enlarged my world—ever deepening and expanding my sense of both pain and wonder, of hope mingled with despair.
Listening within a world diverse has moved me to start Musings of a Life from a Place In-Between. It is my hope that in a world divided we will discover anew, “reverence, “ the gift that makes being human a journey worth exploring.

Like road trips? You’ll love to hate this one as did the twelve who camped out with him. Each of the twelve thought they had the route figured out... A little time in Galilee gathering the mogo and then onto Jerusalem and great things. Instead Jesus took his fellow pilgrims to a pagan retreat center to ask the question that would haunt the last weeks of Jesus life.. Who Am I? With John, the beloved, we will re-live Jesus words in a journey from Caesarea Philippi to Golgotha, from Mt. Hermon to Mt. Zion.
